Last blog post of genre research, finally narrowing down to two genres drama and teen comedy, I never thought choosing between two genres would be so hard. These are both very interesting genres that I would love to be able to do both; sadly that's not the case. Me and my partner are both leaning towards teen comedy as we believe we can do a better job in this genre as we have watched plenty of movies of in this genre and have more knowledge, with the skills learned in class and different skills such as creating a storyboard, knowing how to put together different shots, and being able to edit will moreover help us create a great film opening.We still aren't sure this process of choosing is very stressful as we don't want to make the wrong choice.
Very soon we will have to start creating a storyline and its imperative to have knowledge in our genre of choice as we will be working with this till the end of the portfolio project. Time goes by so fast and in the blink of an eye what started as an idea is becoming reality. I'm very invested in this project what it will become, many ideas overflowing my head and i'm ready to make it happen!
