Music Marketing

    To start of this project was a challenging project as it had many parts to it and many things to take into consideration. First we had to research different record labels such as:  Elektra Record and Fueled by Ramen.  Here is our music research chart in which we did elaborate research on these record labels and got a further understanding on how record labels work and different marketing approaches to make their artist successful.

After this process we had to create our own artist and develop different approaches to make this artist successful, we brainstormed many ideas and finally decided to create our character Issac. Issac is a teenager that grew up in Tampa and is moving to California to pursue his music career, we choose California as it's the place were many opportunities come along and were our artist would benefit more being. Issac is a rock star that has many socials in which he will create content to become known.  

Me and my group decided to create different socials for Issac such as Instagram, Tik Tok and Twitter.

Moreover,  we planned his image based on putting different ideas together we all decided on the style of Issac as it fits his brand as a rock star, then we styled different hoodies and masks as we saw fit since we as teenagers which is his target audience know what is on style and decided upon the style of the trippy happy face. 

Finally we put everything together and created our presentation as we believed would be best understood and elaborated.This project took time and effort but i believe we did a great job we all put our skills together to make it happen, Sophia and Ethan did a very good job editing the music video and me and Isabela did very well in researching and at the end we put everything together and it became this great artist. 

This project helped me understand music marketing better and whats behind an artist which is his brand and the label. It also showed me how to furthermore do research and gain more understanding over a topic. The aspects of this project such as teamwork will help me in my Cambridge portfolio as i will be working in a team to accomplish my portfolio, also the aspect of time management will also help me as we had to work to put this project together in a certain amount of time. Researching and editing also will come in handy when doing my portfolio i learned a lot of great tips and tricks with this project that will allow me to be more successful in projects in the future. 

Very amazing and fun opportunity to learn about music marketing and to create a whole artist!
